A Guide to 30 days safari in Tanzania 🇹🇿

DAY 1. ARRIVAL
After the check-in at the KILIMANJARO International Airport, our driver will be there ready to transfer you to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time it’s possible to meet your safari guide for a tour briefing but also we advise you to take your time to rest for the fresh start of your safari. Welcome to Tanzania!

DAY2. DRIVE TO MOSHI THEN VISIT MATERUNI WATERFALLS AND COFFEE TOUR
Materuni Waterfall hike is just 15km from Moshi Town and is a great experience including a local coffee tour, after a tour drive back to your Hotel in Moshi.

DAY3. DRIVE TO MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK(RHINO SANCTUARY)
After breakfast from you will leave your Hotel an Drive to Mkomazi National Park which is a 6 hours Drive from your Hotel, upon arrival you will take your lunch then after you will start a game drive in the park, Mkomazi national park has a thinly populated and quite skittish wildlife. It is typical for the dry landscape: giraffes, antelopes, small kudu, impala and Grant’s gazelle. They share the park with elephants, buffalo and numerous predators, including lion, leopard and cheetah.You will also visit the RHINO SANCTUARY to see the the endangered Black rhino, later drive back to Moshi Town for the overnight.

DAY4.MOSHI TO ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at your Hotel and Drive to Arusha National Park which is a 2 hours drive, Situated just a short drive from Arusha and Moshi, Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s most convenient parks and is a fantastic destination for a day trip and makes for a great beginning or end to any Tanzanian itinerary.
Arusha National Park hosts a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from vast savannah and rainforest through to acacia woodlands and up to alpine vegetation on the higher reaches of Mount Meru.At just over 200 square miles, Arusha National Park has great wildlife densities, and it is home to the world’s largest population of giraffe, Cape buffalo, elephants, hippos, zebra are found here in abundance, and the occasional lion and leopard can also be sighted on a game drive.
Some great activities at Arusha National park include game driving, canoeing, hiking Mount Meru, and walking safaris. It is one of the few national parks in Tanzania where you can go on walking safaris. Later drive to Arusha Town for overnight.

DAY5.DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Ranking as the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park, Located slightly off the popular northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, the park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Within the northern part of Tarangire is the permanent River Tarangire also known as the life-line of the park particularly in the dry season when most of the region is totally dry. You will also be able to see Zebras, Antelopes, Waterbucks, Impala,Giraffe,monkeys and different types of birds, After game drive drive back to your lodge located inside the park.

DAY6. TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast depart for a morning game drive then return to your Lodge for hot lunch then do game en route while exiting the park and drive to your Hotel outside the park

DAY7. MTO WA MBU CULTURAL TOUR
On this day you will have relaxation by visiting locals and share time and experience with them, later you will do BIKING ACTIVITIES until evening where your guide will pick you and take you to your Hotel located near Ngorongoro conservation area.
Accommodation: Gibbs Farm Karatu.
DAY8. LAKE EYAS TOUR
Lake Eyasi Cultural Tourism, This day trip offers you a unique opportunity to visit the traditional homeland of the Hadzabe (or Hadza) peoples the last bushmen frontier where you will learn their craftsmanship and go hunting with them, Later drive back to your Hotel.

DAY 9. NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA TOUR.
Leave your Lodge with your guide and embark on a journey to the one of the 7 wonders of the world, The Ngorongoro crater the large unbroken caldera, here you will have a day tour and see the wonder of the world, later get your lunch at the hippo pool picnic area and continue the game drive and later drive to your Lodge which is located at the crater rim so when you wake up in the morning you will get the magnificent view of the crater.

DAY 10. NGORONGORO en route TO SERENGETI (BALOON SAFARI)
Very early in the morning your driver will pick you at your Lodge to the AIRPORT where you will join other tourists on the BALOON SAFARI to the majestic SERENGETI, after a scenic view of animals from your balloon you will land in SERENGETI where your driver will be already there waiting for your arrival and continue the game drive until lunch time where your driver will provide your lunch box for your lunch, later go for an evening game drive.

DAY 11 TO 15. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Due to its majestic size you will spend a bit lot of time is this park and explore all its four major parts, the East Serengeti, the South Serengeti, the West Serengeti, and the North Serengeti you will enjoy abundance of wildlife in Serengeti plus your guide will be tracking one of the wonders of the world THE GREAT WILDEBEEST MIGRATION. Your Accommodation style will vary from Tented camps to Lodges according to the way you want.

DAY 16. SERENGETI TO ARUSHA TO DARESALAAM
On this day you will drive from Serengeti Game en route via Ngorongoro to Arusha then you will be transferred to KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and take a local flight to DARESALAAM.

DAY 17 DARESALAAM TO SELOUS GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, our driver-guide will pick up you from Dar-es-salaam and drive you to Selous Game Reserve. On arrival late afternoon, short rest for lunch before depart for a boat safari experience in the Rufiji river which is among the biggest water systems in East Africa, you will be able to see Hippos, Crocodiles, and other animals in their natural habitat. Later in the evening, drive to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY18.FULL DAY SELOU GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, start another beautiful day exploring Selous Game Reserve which is reputed to be best off the beaten track wildlife safari destination away from the crowds. Spend a full day for a game drive while enjoying your picnic lunch in the bush. Selous is Africa’s largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania’s most extensive protected area; it is home to a large population of Elephants, Buffalo, and wild dogs. Expect to see other animals such as Lions, giraffes, Zebras, Kudus, Impala, Leopards, crocodiles, and 350 species of birds. After a full day game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY19.SELOUS TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
After getting breakfast, check out and proceed by crossing the north of Selous and drive to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, check-in to the lodge before starting your first game drive in Mikumi National Park, Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. The park has a wide variety of wildlife that can be easily spotted and is also well acclimatized to game viewing. During the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY20. FULL DAY MIKIMI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up in the morning for your breakfast then start the full game drive within Mikumi National park. The Mikumi flood plain is one of the park’s most significant features bordering the mountain ranges. You will be able to see calm Elephants in this beautiful national park. Not only that but also, expect to see Wildebeest, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions, Zebras, leopards, wild dogs, and the different species of birds. During the evening return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY21.MIKUMI TO RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, start a long day drive to Ruaha National Park with a packed lunch box. On arrival in Iringa check in at the camp for rest, dinner, and overnight.

DAY22. FULL DAY RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast in the morning, leave the lodge for a full day game drive with a packed lunch box, This Park is one of the few of Tanzania’s famous wilderness areas where the tourist can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. After lunch in the park, you will continue with the game drive till the evening return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY23. FLY FROM RUAHA TO ZANZIBAR
Upon arrival, you will meet our guide from Zanzibar waiting for you to take you to your 5* hotel near the crystal clear white beaches ready for relaxation for the rest of the days
